World Wide Technology Netherlands is offering an exciting opportunity for a Global Logistics Associate. In this role, you'll be responsible for the daily execution of shipping activities — including load tendering, documentation preparation, tracking and tracing, and other logistics operations — for both domestic and international shipments originating from WWT warehouses, vendor sites, and remote facilities.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates basic understanding of key terminology and key performance indicators in the industry.
Utilizes resources to complete tasks; tracks own efficiency using reports and tools.
Distinguishes between activities and tasks that add differing levels of value; begins to determine potential improvements to impact quality.
Identifies areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within own work area.
Uses established tools and techniques to track progress related to implementing process improvements.
Develops an understanding of the company's current tools and database system for records management.
Demonstrates understanding of current records management procedures by assisting with compiling documentation.
Assists with the maintenance of basic filing systems.
Collects information to understand problems and identify their origin.
Researches precedents and known solutions for basic or routine problems.
Implements prescribed steps and ensures effective resolution, escalating troubleshooting if needed.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year progressive experience in a related field
Ability to multi-task in a face paced environment.
Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio application proficiency.
Excellent communications skills
Six Sigma/ Lean training a plus
MRP experience a plus (Oracle or SAP)
Knowledge of and experience US import and export regulations
Must be fluent in English, any other language is a plus
